I use shamanic healing techniques for cleansing and bringing messages from the animal's spirits and the horse spirits. I work with native american drum, smudging and I have three native american flutes, one of which is very special, made by a native american shaman in New Mexico and it has a horse's head carved on the end of it. When I first meet a horse, I play this flute and the reactions from the horses are amazing. I go to sacred sites (Avebury stone circle etc.) where I play my flute and drum to help with healing Mother Earth. The horses respond amazingly to the drum and it's very good for cleansing their auras and grounding them.

This is my friend's dog Pixie and my cat Lobo finding the best place to sit. Notice the two horse skulls, both of which I found in the New Forest and Tomachee (dark skull on the right). On the left is my sacred horse flute.

This is a medicine shield of my arab stallion. I make these, along with many other native american things including dream catchers and tipis. If anyone wants a medicine shield of their horse, get in touch with me and send me a photograph and I can make you one.

This is a typical reaction to me playing the horse flute. Most horses are drawn to come over to the flute while I am playing it and 60% of them try to smell it and eat it. It always has a very relaxing effect on all horses. I think it reminds them of past lives they've had as indian horses.
